CodeExplorers CS Workshop

I know it has been quite a while since I wrote, but my Junior year course load is keeping me busy (as it should :)). I am excited to share that I will be running a 6-week CodeExplorers Junior CS workshop at the Hutto Public Library that will be focused on introducing middle schoolers to introductory scratch and computer science concepts. I have been working hard these past few days through thanksgiving trying to wrap up most of the curriculum. I am hopeful that the content will be engaging and beneficial to the curious minds.

If you are reading this, and have a middle schooler anywhere in the Northern Austin area that may benefit from this experience, I encourage your kid to sign up with the library (its free, yay). I will keep all posted as the curriculum is finalized and perhaps even upload it to YouTube :). Special thanks to Ms Hannah Duron for being my advocate and a mentor in this journey that will be personally rewarding. Once a sign up form is available, I will share a link immediately.

And Happy Thanksgiving to all! Have a blessed rest of the year and holiday season.
